Chalong Bay
Chalong Bay is located in the South East of Phuket. It is a large, natural bay that has been the center of the Phuket scuba diving and boating scene for several decades.
All Scuba Daytrips and most Liveaboards depart from here. So do many other boat related activities as sailing boats and speedboats take off to nearby islands.
If you want to visit Racha Yai, Coral Island, Koh Lone or Koh Maithon, you can do so very easily from Chalong Pier.
SCUBA DIVERS
Ideal location for scuba divers as the main jetty for all scuba daytrips is just a few hundred meters away. We are affiliated with Sea Bees Diving who conduct their beginner courses right in the resort, but you can also find a dozen of other dive centers within walking distance. Find out more here.

The resort is very close to some of the best and most well-known fitness, MMA and Muay Thai gyms in Phuket. The famous fight street with Tiger Muay Thai, Phuket Top Team & Unit27 Crossfit is just 5 minutes away.
ACTIVE TRAVELLERS
If you are keen on exploring Phuket on your own, yet prefer a quiet location than we are perfectly located. Some of the main tourist attractions are just 5-15 minutes away. Among them Wat Chalong, Big Buddha, Promthep Cape and Phuket Town. Also you can find several beaches just a short drive away.

Temples & Viewpoints
Chalong is also well known for Wat Chalong, the largest temple on Phuket and one of the most important Buddhist temples in Southern Thailand.
Very well known and a must visit, when in Phuket is the nearby Big Buddha, a huge 45m high Buddha statue covered in white marble that sits on top of a moutain and offers stunning views all over Chalong bay.
Palm Garden Resort is located just a short drive from both Wat Chalong and Big Buddha, as well as several other view points, temples, markets and beaches.

In recent years Chalong has become famous for its many Muay Thai, MMA and Cross Fit gyms, that are located in Chalong and Rawai and are within easy access from our resort.
